| TRUE STRENGTH AND A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE |
Hectic... Stressful... Unbalanced... Exhausting... If these are just a few of the words you use to describe your life, perhaps it's time for a change!!! Life is ever changing and so are we! There are vast influences we deal with on a daily basis. Some of these influences can lead us to develop habitual behavior. Some habits are beneficial while others are potentially life threatening. We have the ability to choose but not always the strength to make the right decision. We are all on a journey of self-discovery. We can see ourselves in the mirror but who is that reflection looking back? What do others see? Influences in our society perpetuate the delusion that we are never THERE. This delusion is a by-product of our consumer based economy that has worked its way into our psyche, which inevitably influences our level of contentment. Dissatisfied, we need more, hence we consume more and more. We become envious, covetous, and greedy, or we suffer the judgement of others in what is called our social status. It is unnatural to sit at a desk for eight plus hours a day. Yet to make money in order to have options, relative to others in society, one is essentially forced to sit at that desk for the entire day. Once you have earned enough or however much money you possibly can, will you have the health or desire at that time to pursue those dreams? Time literally becomes a commodity in short supply. We begin to feel torn apart, unhealthy, undesirable, unsuccessful and too close to death. With our essence fragile, we feel weak. In our goal oriented society there is no wonder why stress is a part of our lives, so why should our habitual stress relieving activities cause us stress? Results are what we are after but placing too high of expectations on the benefit of some results while neglecting the relief of those results that occur in THE NOW, is the greatest cause of failure. This failure phenomenon applies to all aspects of life. The secret is making ones business not with the fruit of action but with action itself. Love what you are involved with not the end result. For true happiness, we must begin by discovering a balanced connection between our body and mind. We are all spriritual beings but physical beings as well. We are responsible for our spiritual balance and putting food on the table. If life is stressing you out, find a habit to balance it out. Need help in order to do so? Connecting your body and mind for true strength and a better quality of life, that is ATHLIMA FITNESS. |
